Simone Duckworth
Simone is the Owner of Craft Box Limited, a Hong Kong based company.
Simone has always had a passion for crafts ever since her Grandmother taught her to knit, sew and crochet. Lace making, dressmaking, embroidery, patchwork and more recently jewelry making are just a few of Simone's talents.
Over time she has passed on these skills and talents to her own daughters, Rose and Eliza, she realised there are many other children wanting to learn these crafts.
Craft Lessons
Simone now teaches children in her Craft Box Classes at Clearwater Bay School and has a network of teachers she has trained to teach Craft Box Lessons at Bradbury School, Discovery College and Kowloon Junior School as part of their extra-curricular programs. Craft Box is always looking to expand the schools in their program so please let us know if you think your school would be interested in having craft classes. We now teach 40 children each week at schools around Hong Kong with our network of teachers.
Craft Box allows children to explore their creative side whilst building their confidence and give them a real sense of achievement once they have completed their own craft projects.
Since starting with craft lessons in December 2008, we have expanded our business to include our Craft Party service and Craft Kits.
Craft Party
We have delivered over 85 parties since since December 2008, to clients all over Hong Kong who have loved our one-of-a-kind craft parties. Children from as young as 3 year old to over 10 years old have enjoyed the interesting craft activities available. Our clients hold their parties in their own homes or in club houses. Every party is totally unique. Some people have the parties to entertain children having sleepovers.
Craft Kits
We have also developed a range of craft kits and have activity boxes available at different times of the year. These are great boxes to have for guests in your house, take on a holiday or vacation or keep children busy during school breaks.
